Recently, there is a ransomware attacks towards Office file called “qkG filecoder”. It will copy and reproduce itself by infecting the Microsoft Office Word sample file.
Although it does not seem to be a popular malware at present, this concept verifies that ransomware may generate new behavior and expand into more threatening cyber attacks in the future. Therefore, users must check the personal computer protection status.
